1At the end of every seven years thou shalt make a release. 2And this is the manner of the release: Every creditor that lendeth ought unto his neighbour shall release it; he shall not exact it of his neighbour, or of his brother; because it is called the LORD’s release.Deuteronomy 15:1-2 · KJV
Store in good years, leave the edges, count the cost, don’t let debt own you, don’t lend to crush.
Every seven years, Israel was to cancel debts between neighbors. Debt was not meant to be a life sentence. You can set your own release date.
