You have now walked through the passion in Mark and Matthew, and through Luke's careful account toward the cross. Jesus said he came "to give his life a ransom for many" (Mark 10:45). Mark 15 and the matching chapters show the arrest, false witness, crucifixion, and burial. This page does not add a theory. It asks you to hold the text: the Son of Man suffers, and the story does not stop at the grave.
